Whalefall, the new film from 20th Century Studios directed by Brian Duffield, opens in theaters today, and Tonality's voices are part of its score.

The project holds special meaning for us: Tonality recorded the score on our tenth anniversary, to the day.

The score was composed by Joseph Trapanese, a longtime friend of Tonality. Joe is a former member of our board and produced our recording of Running From, Running To on Songs of Remembering. Dr. Alexander Lloyd Blake served as vocal contractor for the film and conducted the choir's recording session.

In Whalefall, a scuba diver searching the ocean for his father's remains is swallowed by a sperm whale and has an hour to find a way out. The film stars Austin Abrams, Josh Brolin, and Elisabeth Shue.
Thank you to Joe and the entire Whalefall team for bringing us into this project, and to every singer who joined us in the studio. Catch Whalefall in theaters starting today, and listen for us.
