I first discovered the group through friends of mine who were already members. Tonality's attention to social justice, high caliber of professionalism, and wide array of rewarding professional opportunities immediately drew me to audition. I'm grateful and excited to have become a part of this collective of talented, dedicated, and equity-driven artists!
There's no shortage of community and collegiate level choirs out there, but finding an independent vocal group with impeccable artistry and commitment to social justice is no easy feat! Tonality's work stands out on a national level as high quality and meaningful performance showcasing diverse vocal talent.
This is my first original concert with Tonality, and I could not think of a better theme than Just Me. As a trans-nonbinary individual, I'm excited for Tonality to be a part of the greater conversation around my community and to sing music specifically selected to spotlight us.
