I joined Tonality to have the opportunity to sing with many talented friends and colleagues. The mission of the group also aligns heavily with my own goals.
A group like this is important because it proves that activism can come in many different forms, reaching many different audiences. It expands the value of ideas with the addition of music and genuine emotion.
A particular moment that still resonates with me happened after my first concert with Tonality. The performance itself put my family and I in an openly vulnerable headspace that allowed us to talk about what we mean to each other and how our past experiences shaped our lives; be it good or bad. It was an experience that brought us closer as a family and one I'll never forget.
