I believe in the importance of Tonality's advocacy as it relates to the larger choral art form.
Tonality uses music to engage audiences in difficult but important conversations.
Singing "America Will Be" -- especially the words "America was never America to me. And yet I swear, America Will Be." I will never forget Joel explaining that America is not yet -- but it will be. There's that dangerous rhetoric to make America great again, when it really hasn't peaked yet and perhaps it was not great yet... but it can reach its potential; it will be if we do the hard work. There is just so much hope and potential in that phrase.
