After studying classical music in undergrad, I immediately began pursuing an acting career. Tonality presented the perfect opportunity to scratch my choral itch while also giving back to the community by way of social and political advocacy.
Diversity in the choral space has been difficult to come by since the advent of choral music. Intentionally gathering voices of every musical practice creates an experience that is exponentially more artistically valuable.
Performing in collaboration with the Phoenix Chorale, holding back tears as an ensemble as we sang a song cycle surrounding the Black experience in America.
